I know that
You will come seeking me
You will give by seeking me
I experienced that
There is no other means
For me to know you
There is no use
By attempting any other thing
When the inner need
Compels me

Longs for you

Seeking me

By showing your love
All the paths
That scriptures prescribe
Are the paths
That human searched
None has attained
By going through that paths
If we trust them
There is no hope for redemption
When we proclaim that
It is no more possible
Seeking your grace
By folding both the hands
When we come
Seeking your grace
You too will provide
By reaching us
Forgetting this
Simple means
Searching everywhere
By wandering
Doing so many research
By reading so many book
How many millions
get lost
Though I too have
Done the same
As I awakened
In the middle
I understood you
Who came seeking me
I reached your feet
Knowing that your are god
This alone I
Proclaim to the world
I beg them to be
Awakened like me
Those who listen
Surely will be awakened
They will receive

After my reading and some reflections about dialogue and evangelism, in my prayer I said, ‘you will come seeking after us and there is no other means to understand you’. Then unable to pray further, I began to reflect about it. As the inspiration came I wrote this song as my prayer for this day.

நாடிநீ வருவாய்
நானதை அறிவேன்
தேடிநீ தருவாய்
நானதை உணர்ந்தேன்
வேறு வழியில்லை
உன்னையும் அறிய
வேறெது செய்யினும்
பயனில்லை அடைய

உந்திடும் போது
உயிருன்னைத் தேடி
ஏங்கிடும் போது
நீயாக நாடி
வந்திடுவாயே

ஆய்வுமே செய்து

நானும் அதையே
செய்திருந்தாலும்
நடுவே நானும்
விழித்ததினாலே
தேடி வந்த
உன்னையும் அறிந்தேன்
தெய்வம் நீயென

ஊருக்குச் சொன்னேன்
என்போல் விழித்திட
இறைஞ்சியே நின்றேன்
