When I read any scholarly books which rationalize so many incidents both in history and personal life, I was overwhelmed by the rationalism behind it. But when I turn within me, I see another kind of reality within me which goes beyond reason. The realization of my shortcomings was the inner voice within me which I heard even before my encounter with the Lord. Though I searched so many answers within my tradition, still the explanation given by the Lord convinced my spirit, which brought that transformation which I was seeking; I surrendered myself to the Lord. As I was reflecting about it after reading one such scholarly book, I wrote this song.

தெரிந்துமே செய்கிறேன்
தெரியாமல் இல்லை
புரிந்துமே சொல்கிறேன்
புரியாமல் இல்லை
தெரியாமல் புரியாமல்
வாழ்ந்திருந்தாலோ
குற்றமும் சொல்லிட
வழியேதும் இல்லை
நீவந்து சொன்னதால்

ஆகவே அதனையும்
ஆராய்ந்து பார்த்ததில்
அதுவரை காணாத
பதிலும் கிடைத்தது
அதனையும் ஏற்று
அடிபணிந்து வந்தபின்
அடியனை மீட்டுநீ
ஆண்டது புரிந்தது
அதனைத் தெரிந்துமே
ஐயனே வந்தேன்
அதன்பின் உன்னையும்
புரிந்துமே கொண்டேன்
ஆகவே இனிமேலும்
அறியாமல் புரியாமல்
ஐயனே ஒருகாலும்
நான்வாழ மாட்டேன்
