It is good for Modi—if he is defeated.
Considering the present political situation, it is better for Modi to be defeated in 2019 election for his own good; however it might be bad for the country.
In 2006 election, DMK received a humiliating defeat in which it was even deprived to remain the main opposition. Particularly the gundas of that party (who they call as local and district party leaders) irritated common people by indulging in all kinds of atrocities. Wherever they liked any property, land or business, they grabbed it from the people in a throw away price (like the cattle sold for beef—a term which the BJP never likes, but it is a reality in India, particularly in South India, more specifically in Tamilnadu). Similarly Karunanidi’s family members, particularly Maran brothers ruled the Film Industry. Whatever they thought that was the rule there. After that humiliating defeat in one TV news came that Stalin told his close associates that his party gundas went too much to irritate people. Similarly the Sang Parivar gundas though not involved like that kind of corruption, yet on several level are giving trouble to the freedom of expression to the common people (if they get irritated and oppose this article, it will confirm it further). Modi is in the same situation like that of Karunanidi (now poor Stalin too) as he never had any control over these party gundas. In (election) politics this is inevitable evil. The atrocities of these gundas cannot be tolerated. At the same time, they cannot control, as their help is need to win the election (or lose it). However Modi might have great vision for the country, his gundas remain a cancer in the gross rote level.
Similarly, the oppositions, particularly Congress not knowing their strength (actually weakness—poor Rahul like Manmohan Sing was dragged in politics), just oppose Modi for the sake of opposing him. This is not good for the progress of the nation. But in the present scenario, as it happened in the past (where we had several short term unstable PMs like: Gauda, Gujaral, Charan Sing, Chandra Sekar) an unstable government should come in the Centre. Thereby the country affected on every front, will bring Modi back to power for next ten years (2024 to 2034). But if Modi returns back to power in 2019 election, then the atrocities of his gundas will go beyond anybody’s control and who knows he might be permanently disappear from Indian politics after 2029 election. Apart from this, after entered in electoral politics, I think Modi never was defeated and always enjoyed the power as a ruling party in Gujarat. Therefore he never understood the condition of an opposition party. So in order to understand the mind and condition of opposition and to control his gundas, it is better for Modi to be defeated in 2019—however it is not good for the nation.

தற்சமயம் உள்ள அரசியல் நிலவரத்தில் மோடி தோற்பது நாட்டிற்கு நல்லதல்ல. ஆனால் அவருக்கு மிகவும் நல்லது.
2006 ஆண்டு தேர்தலில் திமுக மிக மோசமாக தோற்பதற்குக் காரணம், கருணாநிதியின் அல்லக்கைகள் செய்த அபரிதமான அட்டகாசம். குறிப்பாக அவர்கள் செய்த நில அபகரிப்பு மற்றும் எல்லா துறைகளிலும், நிலைகளிலும் அவர்களின் குடும்ப ஆதிக்கம் மக்களை மிகவும் பாதித்து. உதாரணத்திற்குத் திரைத்துறையில் மாறன் சகோதர்கள் வைத்ததுதான் சட்டம். திமுகாவினரின் வட்ட, மாவட்ட அல்லக்கைகள் (செயலாளர்கள் என்று அவர்கள் கவுரமாக அழைத்துக் கொள்வார்கள்) எந்த நிலம், கட்டிடம் மற்றும் தொழில் அவர்களுக்குத் தேவையோ, அதை மற்றவர்களிடமிருந்து அடிமாட்டு விலைக்கு (பா ஜா வினருக்கு பிடிக்காத ஒரு வார்த்தை, ஆனால் நீண்டகாலமாக உள்ள நடைமுறை) அதன் உரிமையாளர்களிடமிருந்து அடித்து, உதைத்து, மிரட்டிப் பறித்தார்கள். அதனால் எதிர் கட்சி என்ற நிலையைக் கூட அது இழக்க நேர்ந்தது. அந்த தோல்விக்குப் பிறகு, ஸ்டாலின் தன் நெருங்கிய கட்சி நிர்வாகிகளிடம் ‘நம்ம ஆட்கள் கொஞ்சம் அதிகமாகவே விளையாடி இருக்காங்க’ என்று கூறியதாக ஒரு தொலைக்காட்சி செய்தி வெளியிட்டது.
தற்போதைய மோடி நிலைமையும் அதுவேதான். அவர் சார்ந்த சங் பரிவாரத்தைச் சேர்ந்த சில அல்லக்கைகள், திமுக போன்று ஊழலில் ஈடுபடடாவிட்டாலும், பலவிதங்களிலும் சாதாரண மக்களின் அடிப்படை உரிமையில் அதிகமாகவே தலையிட்டு பலருக்கும் எரிச்சலை உண்டு பண்ணுகிறார்கள். கருணாநிதிக்கு தன் அல்லக்கைகளின் மீது எவ்விதம் அதிகாரம் இல்லாமல் இருந்ததோ, அதே நிலையில்தான் மோடியும் தற்சமயம் இருக்கின்றார். அரசியலில் இதுதான் தவிர்க்கமுடியாத தீமை. இந்த அல்லக்கைகளின் அட்டகாசத்தை சகிக்கவும் முடியாது, அதேசமயம் அவர்களால் எதிர்க்கவும் முடியாது. ஏனென்றால் தேர்தலில் அவர்களின் பங்கு வெற்றிபெற, (தோல்வி பெறவும்) அவசியாமானது. என்னதான் மோடி நாட்டிற்காக உயர்ந்த நோக்கங்களைக் கொண்டிருந்தாலும், அவரின் அல்லக்கைகள் அடிமட்டத்தில் புற்று நோயாக இருக்கின்றார்கள்
மேலும், காங்கிரஸ் போன்ற எதிர்கட்சிகளும், தங்களின் உண்மையான பலத்தை (உண்மையில் பலவீனத்தை) அறியாமல் வெறுமனே மோடியை எதிர்க்கின்றார்கள். இது நாட்டினின் முன்னேற்றத்திற்கு நல்லதல்ல. ஆனால் தற்சமய அரசியல் சூழ்நிலையில், முன்பு நடந்தாற்போன்று ஒரு நிலையில்லா (கவுடா, குஜரால், சரண்சிங், சந்திரசேகர்) அரசு மத்தியில் வரவேண்டும். அதனால் பொருளாதாரம் பாதிக்கப்பட்டு மீண்டும் மக்கள் தெளிவாக மோடியை நிலையாக பத்தாண்டுகள் (2024 to 2034) ஆட்சியில் அமர வைப்பார்கள். அதுபோல் மோடி தோற்காமல் மீண்டும் ஆட்சிக்கு வந்தால் அவரின் அல்லக்கைகளின் அட்டகாசம் மிகவும் அதிகமாகி, அதன் பிறகு 2029க்குப் பின் ஒருவேளை மோடி அரசியலில் இருந்து காணாமலே போக்கக்கூடும். மேலும், மோடி தேர்தல் அரசியலுக்கு வந்து குஜராத்தின் முதல் அமைச்சரான காலம் முதல் இதுவரை தேர்தல் தோல்வியை சந்திக்காமல ஆளும் அதிகாரத்திலேயே இருக்கின்றார். அதனால் அவருக்கு எதிர்கட்சிகளின் மனநிலை புரிவதே இல்லை. அதனால் அவரின் தனிப்பட்ட நமைக்காகவும், அவரின் அல்லக்கைகளின் அட்டகாசத்தை அடக்கவும், எதிர் கட்சிகளுக்கும் அவர்களின் உண்மையான பலத்தை நிரூபிப்பதற்கும், மோடிக்கும் எதிர்கட்சிகளின் மனநிலைப் புரியவும், நாட்டின் எதிர்காலமும், சாமான்ய மக்களின் நலமும் பாதிக்கப் பட்டாலும், வரும் 2019-ல் மோடி தோற்ப்பது, அவருக்கே நல்லது.
