8. Balance sheet
Why this day has dawned
If such is the thought even in the early morning
Why He even created me as a human being?
What is the use of having a reasoning mind?
Did he gave this mind (buddhi)
Only to keep the records of all
The struggles in life
And to find a balance sheet for it at the end?

The struggle which I underwent this day began even from the morning. It continued whole day. As I tried to reason with those struggles and find solutions to them, I become frustrated. At the end in the evening I wrote this song. Did God give the buddhi (mind) to keep the records of all struggles in life and find a balance sheet for it at the end?
8. ஐந்தொகை
ஏன்தான் விடிகிறதோ
என்பதே வாழ்வானால்
என்னையும் ஒரு மனிதனாக
ஏன் அவனே படைத்திட்டான்
பகுத்தறிவு பெற்றதினால்
பயனேது நான்கண்டேன்?
படும்பாடு அனைத்தையுமே
பதிவேட்டில் குறித்து வைத்து
ஐந்தொகை பார்க்கத்தான்
அளித்தானோ இவ்வறிவை
