17 Two fires
God kept two kinds of fire
In our life!
One is hungry
Another is sex
Why he kept them
And what is his expectation?
Like loading too much burden
On the head of a child
Human beings too are struggling
Unable to bear that burden
Like a fool who pours
Ghee on the fire to quench it
People do the same
To quench these two fires
Unable to understand the reality
Like a dump who saw a dream
They too suffer keeping it within them
Without knowing the means to come out!
Both hunger and sex are
Two gifts from God
If they are handled properly
They become very useful
Keeping the law of nature
Even animals too
Handle both of them
In proper way among them
But overcome by lust
If we burn our body
Finally the
Loss will be ours only
If we walk in the
Path of family joining together
It will shine like a
Lamp all the time
In order to keep the life in the body
If we eat properly
Keeping the health before us
Our life too will prolong
If we eat one time we will become Yogi
If we eat two times we are enjoying the life
If we eat three times then we will become enemy to our body
And if we eat more than that then we are not even human beings
We should eat in order to live
And we should not live only to eat
A glutton is
Indeed a burden to the world
If one wishes to take the cart of life
In proper way
Keeping both these needs
In between the axis of self control
And if the both the wheels role
Properly coordinating with each other
You will prosper in your life
And you will become light to the world

Both sex and hunger are the most beautiful gift by God. Even animals never transgress the law of nature in this. But only in human life they become fire destroying us. But those who have self-control become a model for others to follow. But in many others life like a wild fire they merely destroy them completely.
17 நெருப்பிரண்டு
வைத்தானே நெருப்பிரண்டை
வாழ்வென்னும் வண்டியிலே
அடிவயிற்றிலே ஒன்று
அதன்கீழே மற்றொன்று
ஏன்தான் இதை வைத்தான்
என்ன அவன் எதிர்பார்ப்போ
பிள்ளைத் தலை மீது
பெரும்பாரம் சுமந்தார்போல்
தவிக்கின்றார் மாந்தருமே
பாரமவைத் தாங்காமல்
நெருப்பை அணைக்கயெண்ணி
நெய்வார்க்கும் மூடன்போல்
முயல்கின்றார் மாந்தருமே
முழுமூச்சாய் தீயணைக்க
உண்மைநிலை உணராமல்
ஊமைகண்ட கனவுபோல
உள்வைத்தே வாடுகிறார்
உய்யும்வழி அறியாமல்
பசியும் பால்வுணர்வும்
பரனளித்த உணர்வுகளே
பக்குவமாய்க் கையாண்டால்
பலனுண்டு அவையாலே
இயற்கையின் விதிக்கிசைந்து
இவ்விரு உணர்வுகளை
மிருகங்கள்கூட தம்மில்
முறமை அனுசரிக்கும்
மிஞ்சிய மோகத்தால்
காமமெனும் தீயினிலே
கருக்கினால் உடலதனை
நட்டம் நமதேயாகும்
இல்லற வழியதனிலே
இணைந்தே வழிநடந்தால்
எரிகின்ற தீபமாய்
என்றுமது விளங்கும்
உயிர்வாழ வேண்டியே
உடலின் நலம்பேண
அளவாய் உண்டாலே
ஆயுளும் நீடிக்கும்
ஒருவேளை உண்டால்யோகி
இருவேளை உண்டால் போகி
மூவேளை உண்டால் துரோகி
அதற்குமேல் உண்டால் மனிதனல்ல
வாழ்வதற்கே உணவுவேண்டும்
உண்பதற்கே வாழ்வு அல்ல
பெரும்தீனிக் காரன்
பாரமே உலகினிற்கு
வாழ்வெண்ணும் வண்டியது
வளமுடன் சென்றிடவே
புலனடக்க என்ற அச்சில்
பொருத்திய சக்கரமாய்
இவ்விரு உணர்வுகளும்
இசைவாக உருண்டிட்டால்
உன்வாழ்வு வளமாகும்
உலகிற்கு நீ சுடராவாய்
பசி, பால் உணர்வு இரண்டும் இயற்கையில் இறைவன் அளித்த இரு வரங்கள். மிருகங்கள்கூட அவற்றின் நிறைவிற்காக முயலும்போது இயற்கையின் நியதியை மீறுவதில்லை. ஆனால் மனிதவாழ்வில் மட்டுமே இவை இரண்டும் நெருப்பாக அவனை எரிக்கின்றன. சிலர்வாழ்வில் புலனடக்கத்தால் அந்நெருப்பு தீபமாக சுடர்விடுகின்றது. பலர்வாழ்வில் அவை காட்டுத்தீயாக மாறி அனைத்தையும் அழிக்கின்றது. 22 & 24-5- 1993.
