Homemade sugar free candy

This is called ‘kammarkat’ in Tamil. Just take little bit jagery and put few drops of ghee in a non-stick pan. Heat the jaggery in slow fire till it becomes very thick. Don’t add any water. When it becomes thick syrup add Sugar free horlicks and stir it well not forming any lump. You can add any dry fruit of your choice. If you like, you can add grated coconut. But you have to fry the grated coconut bit before you add it in the candy in ghee. Those who like chocolate taste, add chocolate powder according to the amount of the jaggery. Initially you try making with half cup of jaggery, one spoon of chocolate powder, three spoons of horlicks. Those who do not have sugar can use regular horlicks or any other health drink powder that you have in the kitchen. If you like you can add yelaichi powder a bit and also dry ginger powder (sont in Hindi and sukku in Tamil).
Keep another plate greased with bit ghee and pour this candy hot syrup on it. Before it become cold, when it is still hot, you have to role it in small balls. Otherwise they all will become on big candy. The only hard part is making this role, as you have to tolerate the heat of the hot syrup. Instead of buying in the shop in which all kinds of chemicals and preservatives make this for your kids. It will take only ten minutes to make this candy. You can use palm tree jaggery which is better than sugar can jaggery. I made it out of palm tree jaggery.

To make this candy I used only two spoon of palm jaggery and three spoon of sugar free horlicks.
