795 I sought this boon
I don’t know any other thing
Each day I came seeking your feet to worship
Oh my King, you know my situation
What else can I tell about me to you?
I received this very life because of you
I know only to give me to you
I rejoice thinking about it each day
Therefore I come unto your feet to worship you
You never let me have any shortcomings to complaint
You never behaved for me to become upset
You never gave me not considering my nature (to receive)
You never allowed me to struggle all alone
I came unto your feet consciously
I stood several time before without conscious
Knowing the nature of my heart
You mingled with me overcoming my nature
I don’t need any other blessed status than this
I sought only this boon alone each day of my life
I will complete my race living like this
And will live with you all the time.

Again a time of meditation in which sometimes I concentrate on the lord and other times my mind gets diverted. Whether I come to him with full conscience or just as a routine part of life, the time that I spent with him is special for me. More than what I do, what god does for me is that counts for me. As I come out from another such wandering of my mind, pouring down even that kind of experience I wrote this song to worship him.
795 இந்த வரம் கேட்டேன்
வேறேதும் செய்ய அறியேனே நானும்
விரைந்தே பணிந்திட வந்தேனேநாளும்
கோவே எந்நிலை அறிவாயே நீயும்
கூறிட வேறென்ன உனக்குமே நானும்
உன்னாலே நானிந்த வாழ்வையும் பெற்றேன்
உனக்கெனத் தருவதை மட்டுமே அறிவேன்
அதை எண்ணி அனுதினம் மகிழ்ந்தேன்
அதனால் திருவடி பணிந்திட வந்தேன்
முறையிடும்படி நீ குறையேதும் வைக்கலை
முனிந்திடும்படி ஒருபோதும் நடக்கலை
தகுதியைப் பார்த்து நீயும் தரவில்லை
தனித்துத் தவித்திடும் நிலையை வைக்கலை
உணர்ந்தே திருவடி வந்தேன் சிலமுறை
உணர்வின்றி நின்றேன் நானும் பலமுறை
உள்ளதின் ஓட்டதை உணர்ந்திட்ட நீயும்
உணர்வையும் மீறி கலந்தாய் மீண்டும்
இதனினும் வேறு பேறும் வேண்டேன்
இந்த வரமொன்றே அனுதினம் கேட்டேன்
இதுபோல் வாழ்ந்து ஓட்டத்தை முடிப்பேன்
என்றும் உன்னுடன் வாழ்ந்தும் இருப்பேன்
