Seeking which I should run
For what purpose I should run?
Like a small boat
In a deep ocean
In this life which is not clear
Seeking which I should run?
In school days I run seeking education
In youth I run seeking wealth and pleasure
I sought completeness
In the middle age
I crawled in my old age
Seeking the end to life
What will happen after that?
Not knowing that
Seeking which one
I should run again?

In my evening walk I thought about various stages in life in which we run to achieve something. But once completed everything, the race remains incomplete. As I was thinking about it, I wrote this song.

பள்ளி நாட்களில் நானும்
பணம்-சுகம் தேடி ஓடினேன்
வாலிப நாட்களில் தானும்
நிறைவைத் தேடியே நடந்தேன்
நடு வயதிலே நாளும்
ஒரு முடிவைத் தேடியே தவழ்ந்தேன்
முதுமையில் தானும்
அதன் பின் என்னவாகும்
அதை அறியாமலே நானும்
மீண்டும் எதைத்தேடி நான் ஓட
எதற்காக இங்கு ஓட?
