403 Means to gain wisdom
Nothing will be gained
By thinking (too) much
It is better to give up
Thinking itself
One become a fool
By talking too much
One can become wise
By giving up talking (altogether)
Thinking creates
Lots of thoughts
Mind will become clear
By giving up thinking
There are some
Benefit in reading
Having desire
To read
Yet those who
Gave up that too
Gained
Noble wisdom
Doing the sadhana of
Remaining quiet
And learning the
Art to control mind
If the foolishness go
Which confuses the mind?
We will gain that
Wisdom automatically

As I was reading a book, suddenly I began to think about the same subject which I already read in another book. As I began to recollect those points, my mind began to wander and get confused. However as I am interested to read, think and discuss to accumulate ‘INFORMATION’ then I thought, ‘what is the use of all these information’? Are they going to help me to gain any wisdom or knowledge? Too much thinking itself become a snare and talking and discussing them with oneself or others only complicates the confusion than giving any clarity. Then stopping my reading I wrote this song—but again began to read the book!
403 ஞானம் பெற வழி
யோசித்துப் பார்ப்பதால்
ஒன்றும் கிடைக்காது
யோசிப்பதை விடுவது
எவர்க்கும் நல்லது
பேசிப் பேசியே
பேதையாய் ஆனார்
பேச்சை விட்டால்
ஞானியும் ஆவார்
யோசிப்பதால் பல
எண்ணங்கள் தோன்றும்
யோசிப்பை விட
உள்ளம் தெளியும்
வாசிப்பு என்னும்
வாஞ்சையும் கொண்டு
வாசிப்பதில் சில
பயனும் உண்டு
ஆயினும் அதைக்கூட
விட்டு விட்டவர்
உத்தம ஞானத்தைப்
பெற்றதும் உண்டு
சும்மா இருக்கின்ற
சாதகம் செய்து
சித்தத்தை அடக்கும்
போதனை கற்று
புத்தியைக் குழப்பும்
பேதமை போனால்
பெறுவோம் அந்த
ஞானம் தன்னால்
