Discern the Truth
There is a Tamil proverb which says: What the eyes see is not real; what the ears hear is not true; but only by proper investigation one can know the truth. (கண்ணால் காண்பதுவும் பொய், காதால் கேட்பதுவும் பொய், தீரவிசாரிப்பதே மெய்)
The Following picture which I received in Whatsapp proves this. I asked two of my shishyas who are good in photography. They took so many wonderful pictures of Natural scene. So, by sending this picture I told that this could not be a real picture but only a painting. In response one said that he cannot guess. And another said that it could be digitally composed from different media. But when I pointed the colour of the water is blue colour, which is not possible, not catching my clue he sent two more pictures with blue water. Then I pointed out that in a real photo the colour of the water won’t be blue in such a reddish moon light. The reflection in the water also is not matching the landscape. Then he agreed with me.
I have one more doubt about the dark sky with bright stars. Because I have never seen such a dark night sky with bright in such a red moon. Such moon is possible only in the moon raise. That time the sky won’t be this much dark with bright stars. So my guess is that it was composed from three different medias. Both moon and nigh sky might be two different real photos and the landscape with deer and water could be a painting.
Therefore my critical mind (of everything) refuses to accept anything at face value. We need to probe any information presented to us to know the truth behind it. That is why Valluvar said:
Whatsoever is heard, from whomsoever
