Of those who carry
Their burden with much pain

And do good to those
Who know how to share (their needs?)

I become tired both in my body and mind today. I want to take some rest. But I am not sure what kind of rest that I need? As long as we live we cannot escape from activities—both in body and mind. So just replacing one with another is not the solution for my problem. I am longing for an ‘action-less action’ which is difficult to comprehend or express. As I was doing some work in the computer, suddenly this thought again came in my mind and stopping that work I wrote this song.

துதிக்கத் தெரிந்தாலும்
தொழுதிட மறந்தாலும்
துன்பங்கள் துடைத்திட்டுத்
துயர்போக்கும் தூயோன்நீ
சொல்லத் தெரிந்தாலும்
சொல்லவே மறந்தாலும்
சொல்லாமலே வந்து
செய்வாய் நன்மைநீ
அறிந்தே வருகிறேன்
அதனால் சொல்கிறேன்
அடைக்கலம் தந்ததைச்
சொல்லித் துதிக்கின்றேன்
