This is the time to come unto you
and this is the time to talk with you
and sharing all the streams of my thought
this is the time to have fellowship with you
do I need to set aside time for you
and should I seek your permission to come unto you
do I need to remind about my right with you
or do you want someone to go between us
where is the restriction for me in my own home
and where is the limitation for me with you
is there any interference between us
and there is no contradiction between us
I won’t utter unnecessary words
and won’t do unnecessary arguments
and I won’t become tired by talking too much
and I won’t waste the time unnecessarily
when you come and join with me
I will share with you silently
when I come and pray to you
I won’t have other things in my mind
I won’t even count the time
and I won’t stop till I become tired of myself
whenever I think I will come unto you
and I will find peace only in this

The beauty of bhakti is that it helps a bhakta to feel at home with the Lord. We need not absorb any formality. As we have our inherited freedom in our home, we can have access with the Lord that too in our own terms. I celebrate that kind of bhakti in the Lord each day of my life.

உன்னிடம் வருகின்ற நேரமிது
உன்னுடன் பேசிடும் காலமிது
என்மனஓட்டத்தை உன்னிடம்சொல்லி
உன்னுடன் உரையாடும் பேறுமிது
உனக்கென நேரமும் ஒதுக்கணுமா
வரவேண்டி அனுமதி கேட்கணுமா
உரிமையைச் சொல்லியும் காட்டணுமா
எவரேனும் எனக்காய்ப் பேசணுமா
என்வீட்டில் எனக்கென்ன கட்டுப்பாடு
என்மீது உனக்கென்ன மட்டுப்பாடு
நம்மிடை உண்டோ குறுக்கீடு
இல்லையே நம்மிடம் முரண்பாடு
வீணான வார்த்தைகள் கூறமாட்டேன்
வேண்டாத வாதங்கள் செய்யமாட்டேன்
வாயாலே பேசியும் ஒயமாட்டேன்
வீணாக நேரத்தைப் போக்கமாட்டேன்
என்னோடு நீவந்து இணைந்துகொள்ள
மெளனமாய் உன்னிடம் சொல்லிடுவேன்
உன்னிடம் வேண்டிடும் போதினிலே
வேறொன்றில் சிந்தையை வைக்கமாட்டேன்
நேரத்தை கணக்கிட்டுப் பார்க்கமாட்டேன்
நானாக ஓயும்வரை நிறுத்தமாட்டேன்
எப்போ நினத்தாலும் வந்திடுவேன்
இதில்மட்டும் அமைதியைக் கண்டிடுவேன்
