The bliss of bhakti

Simplest way
Giving mukti
Is very easy for you
But gaining bhakti
Is very difficult for us
But to proclaim
The greatness of mukti
Only through bhakti
Remains very dear to me
How long you will
Keep me on this earth
This one you should
Give to me having compassion upon me
As I received that
Great blessing
I should praise you
By singing each day

The real bliss in bhakti is in singing about God. That too when we write new poems and to praise and worship the Lord, the bliss that we receive is beyond comparison. I always prefer to worship him more by singing than doing by any other means.

எனக்கு வரமொன்று
நீதர வேண்டும்
உனைப்பாடும் மனதை
தினம்தர வேண்டும்
நீசெய்த நன்மைகள்
நான்சொல்ல வேண்டும்
நித்தமும் உனைப்போற்றித்
துதிபாட வேண்டும்
எத்தனை நன்மைகள்
எனக்குநீ செய்தாலும்
இதுஒன்றே அனைத்திலும்
உயர்வான தாகும்
பக்தியின் பேரின்பப்
பரவசம் கொள்ள
உனைப்பாடித் துதிப்பதே
மிகவெளி தாகும்
முக்தியை அருள்வது
உனக்குமே எளிது
பக்தியைப் பெறுவதோ
எனக்குமே அரிது
முக்தியின் மேன்மையைப்
பக்தியால் கூறித்
துதிப்பது ஒன்றே
இனிக்குது எனக்கு
எதுவரை புவிமீது
எனைநீ வைத்தாலும்
இதுஒன்றே நீதர
இரங்கிட வேண்டும்
அந்தப் பேற்றினை
அடைந்த நானும்
