673 A pleasant pain
Some kind of sorrow is within
A kind of silence also press upon it
Putting a mask outside and suffocating within
Many live acting outwardly in life
They try to share but unable to do it
And hide their sorrow unable to digest
Suffering within the heart and silently bearing it
They live like a dead man walking
If it shared then they feel shy; if keep within then it become painful
Unable to bear they carry a heavy burden
As they cannot find means to unload it
They always carry this burden within them
Even if someone tries to comfort them
She on her part unloads her burden upon them
As they cannot find a clear cut answer
They both bewildered without find an exit.
It is impossible for human to give answer to this
However they try they cannot find the answer
Hoping that one day time will resolve the crises
They somehow live suffering within
Taking even this kind of pain a kind of pleasure
not get standard but believing in God
repenting and mending one’s own mistake
It is better to live accepting what has come
மத்திகிரி, 22-6-2017, இரவு 11.00
Again a tragic story of a girl eloping with her boyfriend without the knowledge of her parents. But this is not a new thing. But the real tragedy was that when they saw the alliance for her with another boy, she gave her consent for that and even roamed with that boy for several months. They talked several hours over phone. Even one time the girl even asked the boy to do the register marriage as her parents delaying the engagement. But the boy refused to do. Finally when the D-day came to finalize the engagement, the girl called the boy and said that she does not want to marry him as she loves another boy for the past five years. Socked by that when he passed the information to the girl’s family, she threatened to commit suicide finally eloped with her old boy friend. This much shocked the girl’s family also. Finally unable to share this news with others at the same time unable to swallow, the boy told to his relatives that the girl side is unwilling to give the girl to him. And he was bit depressed as the previous girl with whom they almost arranged also ditched him refusing to marry him. Unable to share with others at the same time unable to keep within him few days he remains depressed.
Several such incidents happen to so many people. Unable to share at the same time unable to swallow many suffer silently. Sometime those who try to comfort those who are already depressed began to share their own plights thinking that it will console the suffering person. Thereby both unable to unload their burden have to live carry it.
Though I first typed this song in Secular song, finally as I ended this poem that God alone can give comfort I brought it to Bhakti Theology, though it won’t fit neatly to this genre.
673 சுகமான சோகம்
ஒருவித சோகம் உள்ளாக இருக்க
அத்துடன் மொளனம் மனதையும் இறுக்க
வெளியிலே நடித்து உள்ளாகத் துடித்து
வேடமே போடுறார் மானிடர் வாழ்க்கையில்
சொல்லத்தான் வருகிறார் சொல்லவும் முடியாமல்
சோகத்தை மறைக்கிறார் மெல்லவும் இயலாமல்
மனதுள்ளே மருகி மெளனமாய் உருகி
நாளுமே வாழ்கிறார் நடைபிணமாகி
சொன்னாலோ வெட்கம் உள்வைத்தால் துக்கம்
சுமக்காமல் சுமக்கிறார் மாபெரும் பாரம்
இறக்கி வைக்கவும் இடமற்றுப் போனதால்
எந்நாளும் சுமக்கிறார் மனதினுள் பாரம்
ஆறுதல் கூறிட யாரேனும் வந்தாலும்
அவருமே இறக்குறார் பாரம் அவர்மீது
தெளிவான விடைசொல்லத் தெரியாமல் போவதால்
இருவரம் தவிக்கிறார் வழியுமே காணாது
இதற்கெல்லாம் பதில்கூற மனிதர்க்கு இயலாது
எவ்வாறு முயன்றாலும் விடைகாண முடியாது
காலம் விடைதரும் எனமட்டும் நம்பி
காலத்தை ஓட்டுறார் மனதுக்குள் வெம்பி
சோகத்தை ஒருவித சுகமாக எண்ணி
சுருண்டு கிடக்காமல் இறைவனை நம்பி
தன்பக்கத் தவறுக்குப் பரிகாரம் செய்து
வருவதை எதிர்கொண்டு வாழ்வதே நல்லது
