768 What is good for me?
As you are there to give to me
Where are any hurdles to receive?
Once I come to receive it
Where is any hesitation within me?
Though I don’t know what is my need?
Even if I ask many things which are not required
As you know which is my (present) need?
You provide accordingly everyday!
I ask so many questions till I receive
I find many faults in those which I already received
When things are not going as per my expectations
I make so many complains about it.
But once the days are gone
Then I realize the secret behind it.
Then feeling shy about it,
I feel sorry for the complaints which I made not knowing about it
As I don’t know all about my future
I imagine so many unnecessary things about it
As I wish to live according to those dreams
I ask you to accomplish them.
But knowing which is good for me
You give only that because of your compassion
Once I realized it through my experience
I accept it bowing at your feet.

Many things which I desired I never got in life. Similarly God several times forced me to accept certain directions which I never liked. Though I become upset with him and even found fault with him, after the passing of time, when I look back, I see that God has done only good thing in my life. Similarly now I wish that the present life should continue forever. But learning from my past experience, I know that whatever He will do, will do only for my good. After reflecting about it I wrote this song.
768 எனக்கெது நன்மை
தருவதற்கென்றே நீ இருந்திடும் போது
பெருவதற்கிங்கே தடைகளும் ஏது
தருவதை ஏற்க வந்திடும் போது
எனக்குள்ளே வீண் தயக்கமும் ஏது
தேவை எதுவெனத் தெரியாத போதும்
தேவையற்றவை கேட்கின்றபோதும்
தேவை எதுவெனத் தெரிந்த நீயும்
தேவைக்கு ஏற்ப அளிக்கின்றாய் நாளும்
பெறும்வரை ஆயிரம் கேள்விகள் கேட்கிறேன்
பெற்றதில் பலவித குறைகளும் காண்கிறேன்
நான்எதிர் பார்த்தது நடக்காத போது
அதுபற்றி முறையீடு பலவும் செய்கிறேன்
ஆயினும் நாட்களும் ஓடிய பின்னே
அதன்பின் உள்ள இரகசியம் புரிகிறேன்
அதையெண்ணி மனதிலே நாணம்கொண்டு
அறியாது சொன்ன குறைக்காக வருந்துறேன்
எதிர்கால நிகழ்வை அறியாத நானே
எண்ணிலாக் கற்பனை செய்கிறேன் வீணே
அதன்படி நான் வாழ விரும்புவதாலே
அதை நிறைவேற்ற வேண்டுகிறேனே
எனக்கெது நன்மை என நீத்தெரிந்து
அதைமட்டும் தருகிறாய் கருணையில் நிறைந்து
அனுபவம் மூலம் நானதை அறிந்து
அதையுமே ஏற்பேன் திருவடிப் பணிந்து
