248 He will come with us

In this sweet morning time

When we bow at God’s feet

Our thoughts will become pure

All things will be accomplished pleasantly

He will be with us the entire day

He will complete everything properly

When we sit at His feet for few seconds

We too will be get ready to walk with Him

Who does not have suffering on this earth?

Who does not have burden in their heart?

When He is there to bear them

Where comes any depression to us

To do things for God

I don’t have anything with me

But to do things with God

I have everything as He is there to provide

Let us not have any other thought

Let us not troubled by suffering

Taking courage let us go with enthusiasm

As He is there to come along with us.

In the economy of God the sinless has to die for the sinful.  And our Lord has done it on the Cross.  And the cross become a symbol of suffering and also sacrifices.  However, though the Lord hesitates to accept the cup of suffering, finally He surrendered to the will of God.  Then the cross, for me not remains a mere symbol of suffering and sacrifice but triumphant.  When the Lord came to the earth, He came not merely suffer ‘for’ us but suffer along with us.  When He obeyed the will of God He has not done it ‘for’ God but with God.  In the same way when Sevanand said that he is suffering in his body for the sake of the mandali.  But he never did it with any attitude of suffering ‘for’ others but along with the Lord and mandali.

But in secular life (or even in our Hindu worldview) we have the view that we live, suffer and work ‘for’ others sake.  To keep one person happy several have to toil and even suffer.  But as a bhakta of the Lord He changed this view for me.  I never do anything ‘for’ others but ‘with’ them.  So this morning when I was thinking that by tomorrow I will be gone back to a busy and noisy world, I felt some kind of peace and joy in me and no grudge.  Two days before when I lay down in the evening after dinner (generally I never do that); my mother came and asked, ‘are you not happy to go back to Mathigiri’.  But I said ‘no’ but due to tiredness I want to take some rest.  I never wanted to give the impression that I do this not ‘for’ her sake but ‘with’ her.

Then as I immersed in the silence around me and saw the beautiful dawn I said to myself, ‘as He is with me wherever I go each day is a bless day for me.  I am not doing anything for the Lord or others but with the Lord and others.’  I often said that ‘no place is heaven or hell.  Only people living there alone make it heaven or hell’.  With the Lord every place is the heaven for us.  That time I wrote this song.
