10 The bliss of Nature
When the gentle breeze
Touches the body
The bliss that it creates
Will occupy the entire mind
It is a beautiful laugh without any guile
It is the true love without any lust
It is the gentle hug of a mother
It is the wonderful fellowship of a true friend
It is the pure water fountain
Which will never diminishes how much we drink from it
It is the rule of God
Which covers the entire universe?
There is no limitation
To the bliss which Nature Gives?
And those who never realizes
Will have only trouble in life

The impact of the natural scene which I saw this evening continues to remain within me for a long time. As I was thinking and enjoying it, I wrote this song after 11.30 pm before retiring to bed. The impact of nature is so strong that even after several years I can recall several such wonderful encounters which I had few times in my life in various parts of our land. The majestic Himalayas, deep forests, particularly the roar of sea in Little Andaman’s remote corner are few such places which I can never forget in my life.
10 இயற்கை இன்பம்
மெல்ல வீசிடும் தென்றல்
மேனியைத் தீண்டும் போது
சொல்லவொண்ணா இன்பம்
சிந்தை முழுவதும் ஆளும்
கள்ளமற்ற சிரிப்பு அது
காமமற்ற உண்மைக் காதல்
அன்னைதன் மென் அணைப்பு
ஆருயிர் நண்பரின் இணைப்பு
பருகப் பருகவே குறையா
பளிங்கு நீரின் ஊற்று
பார்முழுவதும் நிறைந்த
பரமனின் அருள் ஆட்சி
இயற்கை அளிக்கும் நல்ல
இன்பத்திற்கோ எல்லை இல்லை
இதனை உணரா வாழ்வில்
எஞ்சுவதோ வீண் தொல்லை
